Ed changed the way the world’s utility infrastructure is constructed and maintained. His original DWP trencher launched an industry and earned him respect the world over.
A sharp mind. A strong rural work ethic. A generous spirit. People looked up to Ed, and rightly so. He embodied everything that's great. Ed was an engineer and a businessman. But more than that, he was a leader.
The needs of the community and its residents were always a priority to Ed. He volunteered time and finances throughout his life, and countless institutions and individuals benefitted from his generosity.
Ed was an Oklahoman through and through. He held tight to his roots, tirelessly promoted his beloved Perry, and never failed to display the kindness and courtesy of the heartland. He was a devoted Oklahoma State University Cowboy, always cheering for and promoting his alma mater.
